Samuel Mbiriri Nderitu

Mr. Samuel is an advocate in the Kenyan Bar and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, Uganda, a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from CIArb London, among other qualifications. He is a highly skilled and experienced litigator and ADR practitioner.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, CIArb, London, Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (FMIArb) and the immediate past Chair of CIArb (Kenya Branch). He was accredited as a Mediator by CIArb, London and the Mediation Accreditation Committee (MAC) of the Judiciary, Kenya.

He is on the panel of Arbitrators and Mediators at the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration, the China Maritime Arbitration Commission and has an indeterminate right of audience before in the AIFC Court, Kazakhstan. He was accredited by CIArb, London as a trainer, examiner and assessor of mediation and Arbitration.

On 30th August 2017, he was appointed by the Minister for East Africa, Labour & Social Protection to a Working Party on the operationalization of the Conciliation and Mediation Commission envisaged under Section 66 (1) (c) of the Labour Relations Act. On 6th October 202, he was appointed by the Attorney General of the Republic of Kenya to be a Director of the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA).

He also serves as the Founder Director of the National Committee, International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Kenya. He was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya on 15th March 2022 as an ad-hoc judicial officer in the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal.
