Mr. Ali Ahmed Baloch has been a significant part of the Sindh Federal Government and has made unparalleled contributions to the same. He was appointed as the SDM Ex-PCS Cadre / Assistant Commissioner in 1996 where he underwent extensive training at the Provincial Service Academy at Peshawar. Mr. Ali has also received field training in various districts of Malir and West Karachi.
In 1997. Mr. Ali was posted as an Additional City Magistrate in Karachi West and has served in the same capacity at Umerkot and Naushero Feroze. Adding to his accolades, Mr. Ali was appointed as a Land Collector at Parko and then as a Section officer at the SGA&C department. Mr. Ali has earned his reputation as an expert in financial management, revenue, energy, and IT throughout his career. In 2012, he received NCMC training at the National Institute of Management of Karachi after which, he was posted as Deputy Secretary of Finance of the Sindh government.
Mr. Ali also served as the Director of Culture of Sindh in 2012 and as an Additional Secretary in the Department of Energy from 2013 to 2014 and then from 2016 to 2017. He has also put his diverse list of skillsets to use as the Inspector General of the Board of Revenue From 2014 to 2016 and then 2017 to 2018. Currently, Mr. Ali is serving the Government of Sindh as an Additional Secretary for the Law Department where his contributions and insight play a significant role in the evolution of the legal framework and its application for the masses.
