Arbitration, much like mediation or negotiation, is an alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) method. Arbitration is a technique for the resolution of disputes outside the courts, where the parties to a dispute refer it to one or more persons – arbitrators, by whose decision they agree to be bound. Arbitration and its procedures in Pakistan are governed primarily by the Arbitration Act of 1940.
Our panel of ADR practitioners includes arbitrators of the highest standing. Our panel includes senior technocrats, former judges of the High Courts and the Supreme Court, and notable members of Pakistan’s legal fraternity. We extend services to parties who have an option to use MICADR’s bespoke Arbitration space even if they have appointed an external Arbitrator.
